Bottom Fishing

Bottom fishing, also known as baiting, targets fish that dwell near the sea bed using fish baits. Anglers use weighted fishing rigs to keep the baited hook close to the bottom, appealing to species such as snapper and grouper. This method can be practiced from boats or shorelines and is effective in both freshwater and saltwater settings. Bottom fishing requires patience and a good understanding of the underwater terrain to locate structures where fish are likely to congregate.

Bottom fishing targets species near the waterbed using weighted rigs, suitable for catching snapper and grouper.
