Welcome to Pure Passion Fishing Adventure (PPFA). By booking a trip or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
All our trips are operated by PURE PASSION FISHING ADVENTURE PTE LTD (UEN: 202423792G). We are a licensed travel agent with the Singapore Tourism Board (Travel Agent Number: TA03792). Our website address is: https://www.purepassionfishing.com. We specialize in offering curated fishing trip experiences and related travel services.
2. Booking and Payment
A. Standard Payment Schedule
Short Trips (Less than 3 Days)
- A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks before the trip date.
Extended Trips (3 Days or More)
- A minimum 30% deposit is required upon confirmation.
- A total of 50% deposit must be made at least 6 months before the trip date.
- The full balance must be settled no later than 2 months before the trip date.
B. Automated Installment Plans (Credit Card / Stripe)
- Processing Fees: An administrative & processing fee (Increment Percentage) is added to the total trip cost for the convenience of installment payments. This fee is non-refundable.
- Schedule: Payments will be automatically deducted from your designated card according to the interval calculated by our system. The final installment must be cleared no later than 60 days before the trip departure.
- Payment Failure: It is your responsibility to ensure your card has sufficient funds. If an installment fails, our system will re-attempt payment. If payment remains outstanding for more than 7 days, or if the final installment is not paid by the due date (60 days before departure), Pure Passion Fishing Adventure reserves the right to cancel your booking. In such cases, all monies previously paid will be forfeited.
C. Late Payment & Forfeiture (Applicable to All Methods)
All deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Participants are responsible for their own commitments. Please ensure your availability before confirming your booking. Timely payment is essential for the logistics of your expedition. If you fail to make any installment or balance payment by the stipulated due date, Pure Passion Fishing Adventure reserves the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you. In such an event, we reserve the right to retain and forfeit all monies previously paid (including deposits and partial installments) to cover administrative and booking holding costs. No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to payment default.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email to admin@purepassionfishing.com.
- Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- For cancellations made:
- More than 180 days before the trip: 50% of the total cost is refundable.
- 90-179 days before the trip: 25% of the total cost is refundable.
- Less than 90 days before the trip: No refund.
- For cancellations made:
No-shows or missed departures will not be refunded.
4. Trip Modifications and Cancellations
We reserve the right to modify or cancel trips due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Safety concerns
- Insufficient bookings
- Other events beyond our control
In such cases, we will offer:
- Rescheduling to a later date
- A credit note valid for 12 months
- A full refund (excluding any non-recoverable costs)
Transport Disruption, Delays, and Loss of Fishing Time
Pure Passion Fishing Adventure is not liable for any disruptions, delays, or missed connections caused by third-party transport providers or border control authorities. This includes, but is not limited to:
Flight delays, schedule changes, or airline cancellations
Ferry service disruptions or cancellations
Immigration or customs clearance delays
Baggage delays or losses resulting in a missed departure
Such circumstances may directly affect your scheduled fishing duration, departure timing, or itinerary. No refund, credit, or financial compensation shall be guaranteed for any loss of fishing time or missed activities arising from these factors. While Pure Passion Fishing Adventure will make reasonable, practical efforts to assist and minimize disruptions where logistically possible, participants are strictly responsible for their own transit schedules and are strongly advised to secure comprehensive travel insurance to cover these specific risks.
5. Assumption of Risk
Fishing trips involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Physical exertion
- Exposure to natural elements
- Equipment-related hazards
By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Pure Passion Fishing Adventure, its staff, and partners are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the trip.
5A. Emergency Protocol & Early Return
All scheduled trips will proceed as planned and will only be cut short or rerouted in cases of genuine emergency or life-threatening situations.
If any participant insists on returning to land for non-emergency reasons (including seasickness, personal discomfort, or other non-critical issues), they will be held fully responsible for:
Any additional costs incurred (fuel, logistics, etc.)
All disruptions and losses caused to the experience of other paying anglers
Any resulting complications to the trip schedule
Pure Passion Fishing Adventure (PPFA) will not be liable for any losses, costs, or consequences arising from such decisions.
By booking a trip, participants acknowledge and accept this policy, and agree to act responsibly and cooperatively to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all.
5B. Indemnity Form
To participate in any trip, every angler must complete and digitally sign the official Pure Passion Fishing Adventure Indemnity Form.

- Requirement: This form confirms your acceptance of the inherent risks, your agreement to these Terms & Conditions, and our Privacy Policy.
- Deadline: The form must be signed prior to the trip departure date.
- Consequence of Failure: Failure to sign the Indemnity Form may result in the refusal of boarding. In such an event, the booking will be treated as a “No-Show” and no refunds will be provided.
6. Insurance
We do not provide insurance. However, we have partnered with reputable insurance providers who offer optional packages covering:
- Medical emergencies
- Personal accidents
- Equipment loss or damage
We strongly recommend purchasing appropriate insurance coverage before your trip. As a licensed tour operator, we can provide invoices to support insurance or employer claims in the event of unforeseen events due to personal illness, emergencies, or work-related changes. 7. Health and Safety
Participants must:
- Be in good health and physical condition
- Inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements in advance
- Follow all safety instructions provided by our guides
We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit or posing a safety risk.
8. Equipment and Personal Belongings
We provide fishing equipment rental options unless specified otherwise.
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
We are not liable for any loss or damage to personal items during the trip.
For extended trips that require flights, we can provide a fishing rod sports tube upon request. By borrowing our sports tube, anglers agree to:
Self-collect the tube before the trip and return it promptly after the trip.
Be fully responsible for any loss or damage arising from their own negligence, mishandling, or error.
Ensure they have valid insurance coverage for the sports tube; if no such coverage is in place, they must compensate Pure Passion Fishing Adventure out of pocket for the repair or replacement cost.
By borrowing our tube, participants acknowledge and agree to these terms.
9. Inclusions and Exclusions
Each trip’s inclusions and exclusions are detailed on the respective trip information page. By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you acknowledge that any service or item not explicitly mentioned is deemed excluded. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Flight tickets
- Meals
- Land Transportation
- Alcohol and/or other beverages not mentioned
Please review the trip details carefully before booking. Non-Exhaustive List: The lists provided on the website or marketing materials are not exhaustive. Pure Passion Fishing Adventure reserves the final right of interpretation to determine whether specific items, services, or costs fall within the scope of the package.
10. Media and Photography
We may capture photos and videos during trips for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such media, please inform us in writing before your trip.
11. Independent Trip Organizers
At times, we may allocate full boat bookings to third parties, herein referred to as “Independent Trip Organizers“. These organizers are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Pure Passion Fishing Adventure. They operate independently and are solely responsible for the organization, marketing, pricing, and execution of their respective trips.
Pure Passion Fishing Adventure’s involvement is limited to securing the booking dates and providing access to the vessel. We do not oversee, manage, or control the activities conducted by Independent Trip Organizers. As such, we are not liable for any actions, omissions, losses, damages, or disputes arising from trips organized by these parties.
Participants who book trips through Independent Trip Organizers should direct all inquiries, concerns, or claims to the respective organizer. By participating in such trips, you acknowledge and accept that Pure Passion Fishing bears no responsibility for the trip’s conduct, safety, or any related matters.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
